The Europrop TP400-D6 is a large turboprop developed for the Airbus A400M military transport. Its output exceeds 11,000 shaft horsepower at sea level. Three-shaft architecture
The gas generator combines a five-stage intermediate-pressure compressor with a six-stage high-pressure compressor, each driven by its own single-stage turbine. A separate three-stage low-pressure turbine provides power to the propeller system through the reduction gearbox. The overall pressure ratio is approximately 25:1.
